We all know too well how the years fly past, no sooner are they ripping open their very first stocking, the magic has faded and that innocence has gone. So, before your eldest starts asking questions about the logistics of Father Christmas actually getting down the chimney, light up their faces for some unforgettable moments that will remind you AND them of that wonderful time in their childhood.

CHRISTMAS MINI PHOTO SESSIONS

This children's Christmas photo experience will take place at The Steading community hub in the village of Rosewell, Midlothian on Saturday 2nd and 9th November. The village is around a 25 minute drive from Edinburgh. There's a cafe within the hub for you to enjoy a snack or beveridge while you wait or after your photo session AND It has it's own dedicated car park.

WHAT TO EXPECT
Children LOVE Christmas! Expect an informal and relaxed 20 minutes of photography where your children can can pretend they're in the North Pole, sledging down the snowy slopes with a stash of snowballs. Perfect for encouraging natural and spontaneous expressions.

INVESTMENT
​
When you book, you pay a £50 non-refundable deposit. After the photos have been captured, I'll take you through the different photo packages available to purchase. You'll do this after you've viewed your set of images in a private online gallery. Your £50 booking deposit will go towards the cost of the package. All my packages include a set of Christmas cards and digital images.​

I'M KIRSTY,
I'm a family, maternity & newborn photographer based in Rosewell, a village in sunny Midlothian, just outside Edinburgh.
​
My family and I enjoy an outdoor loving life in Rosewell, with nature on our doorstep. I love old things, upcycling and can't let a day go past without a steady supply of tea.
​
I honestly get a tingle of excitement every time I capture wonderful, authentic moments for families just like yours in the beauty of the great outdoors or in that special place you call home.

WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO BOOK?
Bookings will be open from Friday 27th September 2024.*
HOW CAN I GET THE EARLY BIRD OFFER DISCOUNT?
If you book your session within the first 72 hours. Sign up to the waiting list to get VIP Access to the Early Bird offer 24 hours before it opens to the public.

​HOW MANY CHILDREN CAN I BRING TO BE PHOTOGRAPHED?
Due to space constraints the maximum number of children will be 3.
DOES THE COST OF A PHOTO PACKAGE INCLUDE THE DEPOSIT?
The Yes. The £50 deposit you pay when you book will be put towards the cost of the package you choose.
IS THERE A MINIMUM / MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT?
This children's photo experience is suitable for children up to the age of 10 years old. Very young children must be able to sit up un-aided.
CAN I GET A REFUND IF I CAN'T ATTEND ON THE DAY?
The booking deposit is non-refundable, however if for some reason beyond your control you can't attend the photo session on the day, you will be able to use your £50 booking deposit, towards a family photo session in 2025.
HOW WILL I BE ABLE TO VIEW THE IMAGES?
After your session you will be given access to a private password protected online gallery. From there you will be able to select and pay for the photo package of your choice.
ARE PARENTS ALLOWED TO BE IN THE PHOTOS?
Parents will of course be present, but only children will be photographed.

WHAT IF I CHANGE MY MIND?
The booking deposit is non-refundable but transferable.

My youngest is usually shy of the camera but Kirsty made them feel very relaxed and managed to capture their personalities as they played. She captured glowing images of the girls, which brought their grandmother to tears when I presented them to her. A generally lovely experience.
